About

Okay… here we go. My name is Damith. I’m a Software Engineer by profession and together with that, carrying  a crazy research to simulate dynamic  tree growth. I got some stunning results with 3D tree generation so far and hope to finalize the outputs in this year.

I’m married and father of a beautiful girl. We live in Kalutara. a coastal city into the western side of Sri Lanka. As much as I enjoy life, I’d like to take photographs. For the recent years, I’ve taken my camera with me while going to work and anywhere else. This year, I switched to mobile photography. Still there’s no time to judge the results but we’ll see how it goes.

That’s about me in a brief. Hope you enjoy my blog.

  2. Sri Lanka is a picturesque country.I visited the country just before the Tsunami. I was fascinated by its simplicity and pristine beauty.
Photography is a way to record the beautiful country.
Poetry is another way to describe the bewitching sights of your country,
Why not try this art too?
Nice of you to have followed Meenas Poems.
Hope you find them interesting, though not as impressive of your pictures.
    All the best.

    1. Thanks Meenas for your comments 🙂 Our countries are always bonded with culture and religion and all forms of arts 🙂 I will think about your suggestion on writing poems. Your poems are really nice and it’s the best way to open your heart to others. If a poem comes to your mind when looking at my pictures, you are very welcome to post it 🙂
